Hello all!
The bike trip has been going really well! After two days of separate routes, Groups A and B rejoined each other at Heemskerk, where we stayed in a refurbished castle. While it was nice to bond with our different groups, it was lovely to see everyone else and be back as a big group again!
Today, we left from Heemskerk back to Egmond and stopped on our way at the town of Alkmaar, famous for its cheese markets. We visited the Kaasmuseum Alkmaar (the Cheese Museum) and took some pictures of the “boats” that the vendors used to use for carrying the cheese!

On our way from Alkmaar to our final stop, Egmond, we passed by some traditional Dutch windmills and made sure to grab a few quick pictures as well!

We are headed to Amsterdam tomorrow and while we are sad to say goodbye to biking and the idyllic views, we are excited to see what the capital city of the Netherlands has in store!
