This post features student writing.

Today was a thrilling day for all of the students. Fears were conquered, mountains were climbed, and lots of hot chocolate was consumed. Everyone had a blast exploring the snow-capped tops of Mont Blanc and hiking in the grassy, green hills just below.

We started our day with a lovely train ride through the countryside towards Chamonix. From Chamonix, we began our journey up the steep téléfériques to reach the summit of Montblanc. Once at the top, students spent most of the day exploring and enjoying the incredible views. We had lunch together among the clouds, followed by delicious hot chocolate and pastries.

After exploring the summit, we continued to hike around the hills on lower parts of the mountains. The hike was a great way to bring everyone together and two students, Jack and Gigi, performed an excellent Sound of Music re-enactment for everyone.

Overall, everyone had an amazing time. All the students showed exceptional levels of enthusiasm (and sweat) on the trip today, and we look forward to another great journey tomorrow.
