Bonjour à toutes et à tous,

It was an action-packed first day here in Argentière! We began our adventure by exploring the area and learning about how to be Putney Student Travelers. We ventured into the local supermarket to put together an authentic French meal for our picnic beneath the towering Alps. We then returned to the refuge de montagne Le Moulin to explore the area and orient ourselves to what will be our new home for the next four days. As I’m sure you know, it’s a bit toasty here in Europe at the moment, so we are making sure to slather on that SPF and drinking plenty of fluids. Our first day came to a close with a delicious meal cooked by our lovely host Benoit.
